Focusing on just one thing can make all the difference in the world to the home based business marketer.
There is always more positive energy flowing on any given task, if the individual just focuses on one thing. It is almost impossible for most to effectively do more than one thing.
This same rule applies in internet marketing. The tendency to jump from one program to the next is quite prevalent. The grass is always greener of the other side of the hill stands true here as well.
Most MLM programs are good in theory. If the individual is focused and stays grounded in the one thing, most times money can be made. If, however, another more appealing program comes along..."jump on board with this...it will make you rich in just a week...month...etc...," then the process begins all over again, leaving little or no success with the first project.
Legitimate questions must be asked because the simple truth is...almost every program looks better than the last. Where is the stopping point? Quite honestly, this futile trip could be a never-ending journey. Little chance of success is possible. Money will be wasted...and of course...precious time. Time that could be very well used to gain the success desired, will simply float down the river.
What is the proper time one should spend to obtain success on the internet? No one could answer that question. How long did it take Henry David Thoreau, William Shakespeare, Rembrandt and a host of all the other famous creators on this planet, to become successful? A lifetime will be sufficient.
The one rule to success on the internet should be, "If you are not willing to spend a lifetime building success, do something else. Work in the factory for wages, work in the corporate world for that retirement, work in the building industry...whatever, just do not get involved on the net planning to get rich in a week, month or year." It just does not happen that way.
The internet does, however, hold the most promise for hard working, creative individuals who is willing to pull out all the stops and get to work. There are no free rides in this life...only consistent building. This focus of thought, this determination, this creativity will reveal itself in success to the consistent home based business marketer.
The one thing theory is relevant, effective, and gives the would be internet marketer the most chance of success. Multiple streams of income may be great in theory, but just having one successful venture first is paramount to one's success on the net.
